James Island County Park is situated along the Stono River Marsh and offers a scenic, natural setting for camping just a short drive from downtown Charleston. The park campground includes a variety of site options ranging from primitive tent sites to full hookup RV sites. Most sites are equipped with full or partial hookups, picnic tables, and fire pits/grills. Additional amenities provided include restrooms, showers, free Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, camp store, and dump station. There is also a rental cabin area available as well.
